Lake Zug

Lake Zug is located between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zurich and is the 10th largest lake in Switzerland. It extends over a surface area of nearly 40 square kilometres to a depth of nearly 200 metres at an altitude of just over 400 metres above sea level. The lake is nearly 14 kilometres in length and nearly five kilometres wide At its narrowest point (beween Chiemen and Lotenbach) the distance is only 1000 metres.
