Rhine Falls

To the right in direction of travel, a unique natural phenomenon comes into view shortly before the train reaches Neuhausen near Schaffhausen. This is where Europe's largest waterfalls plummet to the depths. At 23 metres' height and 150 metres' width, the Rhine Falls are a must-see for every visitor to Switzerland. Take a spectacular boat trip past castles, through the mighty Rhine basin and to the monumental cliff at the centre of the falls. By the way – the train briefly passes through German territory between Rafz and Neuhausen.
